Artist’s statement

Italian by origin, I have been living in Paris since 2014 and work in mobility and transportation. Photography allows me to observe and understand, but above all to document what the everyday offers me. Flanerie, my blog, began precisely as a visual diary, to preserve a memory or to remember a place.

Photography slows me down, takes me away from my daily job, and enhance my life by adding a layer of creativity to the everyday. I look for intimacy, beauty, and the sweetness of what is around us.

I like to collect my images in projects, publications, zines, because I think a single image rarely can tell a story.

If you ended up in one of my pictures, it is because I truly loved that moment: I would be happy to send you a print.

I do not retouch my pictures, do not crop, do not clone, do not remove objects or people, do not use Ai generated function. I want to capture life as it undfold, with imperfection, but with all its emotions.
